The official charger from Tesla will likely be available as an aftermarket accessory soon.

The integration looks much better than that.

Why do companies feel the need to plaster their logo all over. This is hideous looking..

I have this one and like the fact it gives me useful cup holders, usb C port and regular USB port as well:

This one only works with the newer (facelifted) center consoles.
I think the op's one works also with the older center consoles, like the on i have.

    $100USD?! Egads!

Why wouldn't someone just buy one of the el cheap-o wireless charging stands and plop it down there for less than $20? We have them on our nightstands and they've performed flawlessly over the years across several devices.

I don't see a need to pay $100 for basically the same thing unless someone can enlighten me.

Agreed. I'd be absolutely shocked if the OP wasn't somehow affiliated with this product and served to benefit from the sales numbers they're helping to push.

Thank you, I'll take it as a compliment ;).

On a serious note, we all know a lot of things Tesla or our Dearest Elon promised to release but it takes forever to come out.

I am not affiliated with the manufacturer or sales, I posted it because I liked this product. I had a windshield mounted phone holder but got a warning from Highway Patrol.

    Here is another alternative:

    https://www.evaccessories.co.uk/product/qi-wireless-phone-charger-tesla-model-s-x/

I have one and like it, though I did have to remove the crescent shaped rubber pieces from the charger so that my phone would slide in properly. There are no problems launching the car; the phone stays put.

Note, you will need a cigarette lighter charger that supports fast charging. The built in USB ports did not allow for fast charging.

I am with you there. I use a wireless charger stand next to my bed, but for car use I'm not going to pay $59, let alone $99, to save the two seconds it takes for me to plug in a charging cable. Not only that, the charging cable is faster and is still compatible with my kickstand phone case. Besides the $99 price, I'd rather keep use of the adjustable cup holders in the center bin.

i know tesla owners are typically a bit reckless in being spend thrift.
Hell even P owners like to splurg hardcore a bit.

But... 100 dollars for a backplate thats rubberized, and a qi charger...
If i was that splurge, i would of bought a Aston Martin and not a Tesla.

The only way im spending 100 dollars+ for a Qi solution, it would have to be an OEM Tesla.

Although that taptesla one looks good, because i at least get cup holders and that other compartment, and its still almost half the price of the backboard.

Was yours attached to the windshield? I believe there are laws against prohibiting that. The one I am using is attached to the tiny triangle side window.

I bought this product and it’s complete trash. It doesn’t work. I’ve tried charging multiple phones including my iPhone XS, but nothing charged. I even took off my iPhone case just to make sure. This power mat keeps blinking red, blue, and pink. Also, the 3M tape was too thin and it didn’t contact the backing that it is supposed to stick to so even if the unit was functional, I’d need to get more 3M tape to fix this additional design issue.
