Did you charge successfully and at full power?
Successfully, yes, full power, no. I topped out at around 53kW.

Though, I believe it was limited due to pack temps. My pack was still very cold and regen limited when I arrived. Started off at around 30ish, as the pack warmed and limit started to lift, went up to around 53kW, then dropped back down as the pack neared 90%.

EDIT: Thinking back, the regen limit was around 30kW when I plugged in, so it makes perfect sense. It was around -20 windchill when we were their, right after leaving Pizza Pub. After I leave the Casino tonight, I'm going to hop the freeway and head over their. I should have a nice warm pack by then, I am going to leave the car "pre-heating" while I am at the casino (Only will be their 10 minutes, as I am cashing my $75 in free play in ;)

Good news on Onalaska location. Stopped by tonight and construction is very much started. No Tesla boxes yet but lots of digging and underground tubing visible. A few pics below. (Taken after dusk so a bit grainy, sorry)

Awesome THX!!! Well, im at mauston right now, got er down to 20 mines rated left. charging started at 60kw then dropped to 52, stayed their until 50% soc, then went up to 62kw, at 60%soc, charge rate is 60kW, and cooling fans have kicked in, no air conditoner though. outside temp is -1 degrees. no regen limit when i arrived. in fact, got high temp limited due to some spirited driving to warm my pack on the way here if ya catch my drift.

nowreate is at 50 again at 70%, whih seems to be the normal taper down for the 60kw pack.

It looks like Green bay was added back to the 2014 supercharger map http://www.teslamotors.com/supercharger

nice catch. I've been hoping Tesla announces more partnerships with others to continue the expansion going. For example the recent JFK airport charger which is a partnership with the company putting in the airport fuel stations. Something like a Home Depot, Lowes or even a national wide food chain could be great to get to that saturation point whereas you don't even need to really think about a charging option because you know you'll have something within a 30 mile drive in any direction.

Islandbayy, so... is the Mauston Supercharger On then? Or is it still just being tested? I am wondering if I can use it for a road trip yet. If I get there and it isn't on, then I am dead in the water at Culvers.

It does appear to be on, the rates seem to be fluctuate. my disclaimer will stand that it is not guaranteed to be permently on until oficial announcement, though it's been on Thursday Friday and Saturday. was going to go today again, but we're up to 4 inches of snow already. I'd say your safe to go, worst case, 16-20 miles south in te dells, we have a 14-50 available.

I would not count on it until you get at least one of the following:
  1. Official Announcement.
  2. On the in-car map. Use the lightning bolt icon at the upper right on the map to display Supercharger locations.
  3. Listed in the Supercharger list at Supercharger | Tesla Motors. Waiting for it on the map can take a long time.
Two of three and you are golden.

Just noticed this also. Be sure to pass this information along to places you'd like to see charging at. Perhaps Tesla is even subsidizing or giving them out to those that ask.

How can I charge at my destination?
Tesla is working with hotels, resorts, and other destinations to encourage the installation of High Power Wall Connectors where our customers spend time away from home. If your organization is interested in offering charging to Tesla owners, please email [email protected]

Someone tried to charge at Angola, IN after it appeared on the in-car map, but it wasn't turned on. Seems like a mistake on Tesla's part to put it in the nav system if it wasn't live.
