Wish List: A "Little" Tesla

The whole thing about the Spark is that you are given a Tesla-like powerful motor stock. If you want bigger then you need to go the 240z/tesla route which is a very close fit (currently on utube) so should succeed nicely. EV motor/suspension units are essentially physically un-modifiable; all you can do is mess with the electronics a bit but lotsa luck with that(!). The mfrs have seen to it that there is no way to do things like 'replace with bigger motor'. If you have a Tesla sedan but need to zoom and thrash, then go for the SparkEV.

We have and love a 2014 Spark EV. It is the perfect companion car to the tesla. Having one long distance and one short distance car works out very well for our driving habits, and it's a ton of fun to boot. It's so unassuming but packs a punch... if you can get traction.

If it died today I'd have a new (used) one in my driveway tomorrow.
