Woodward Dream Cruise 2019 Detroit Area

Woodward Dream Cruise is this weekend. Any interest in having a rally and group cruise up Woodward with 100% Teslas? We could muster on Catalpa street east of Woodward and line up. Once the light turns green we can fill in the entire boulevard and load up all the cars and cruise Woodward 100% electric for miles. What do you think?

I forgot to mention that would be Saturday morning. Sunday I will not be out that far.

I drove to Woodward yesterday, landed at Woodward and 16 (Big Beaver). Looked south and traffic was backed up so I went North towards LongLake That's where everyone was racing. Mostly Hemis but I did see a Lamborghini.
I circled a few times between 16 and 18 mile but as always, once the sun starts setting the police start pulling over. I saw one hiding in the 2nd turnaround just north of 16 and I was out of there. I live nearby, if you need anything this weekend PM me.

I cruised on Tuesday when the traffic is still somewhat moving. I was leaning towards staying away on Saturday.

I don't like crowds myself. I have had a lot of fun cruising on a few different random Fridays at sunset.
As long as the weather is nice there is plenty of action.

In the past I thought Tesla always had a display at Woodward and Catalpa? Or was is just an owner meet up thing?

I plan on going Saturday before 8pm. Also, I have an extra set of floor mats...

So if any M3 owners are looking for a set of the popular 3dMax floor mats, let me know. They are hardly used and i will let them go for half of retail.

In the past they did put on a greet event at an owner's private parking lot but that hasn't happened in 2 years now. We'll basically be at the same spot for the takeover of Woodward Ave though!
