The 2017 Aston Martin DB11 Blasts From the Past

if in an ev i think the body styling would sell alot. Just sayin...Sometimes i feel the s sedan is wasted space with the back seats and the model 3 would be similar ..the small 2 seater tesla from long ago is TOO small to me...so i would think something like the pics i posted would sell from tesla..like between the model 3 and the s model in the line up-even price wise.

2-seaters in general do look sleek and sporty. Especially compared to a sedan. Personally I like how Teslas have been designed with a smoother body styling (compared to the AM shown with designed body creases in hood and rear quarter panel). I wonder what the new Roadster will look like when it comes out.

i hope the new roadster is larger then the older one and pricewise falls inbetween the 3 and the s. I dont think price will be a deciding factor with a roadster as will size/space for many.

I don't think the roadster will be priced between the 3 and the S
Elon musk made it clear the roadster will be a performance car.
I don't see why they'd want to sell it for cheap

Especially if it's going to be the model that will have Maximum Plaid.

$250K is a lot of moolah, but that DB is a gorgeous car.

This is not a two seater, though. The cool thing about many Aston Martins (e.g. DB11), like Porsches, is that they are not 2 seaters. They are 2+2.

Roadster is far less pracitcal than a DB11. A DB11 can accommodate a family of four, of suitable ages and sizes.

Tesla might eventually make a 2 door sports coupe to compete with Challengers and Camaros and Mustangs, but first they have to fill the mass market and get the finances all stable and well funded. That will be a few million vehicles sold at least. The electronics shouldn't be a big deal, just change the body enough to matter.

Aston Martin really should make a BEV - and perhaps choose more trustworthy partners for this.

I can see my all-British future car fleet already...

    1) Aston Martin Vanquish EV (the daily driver)
    2) Jaguar I-Pace (the luggage hauler)
    3) Range Rover EV (for the place out of town)
    4) Vauxhall Ampera-E (the quirky city roundabout)
    5) Enfield 8000 (for when the Vauxhall is not quirky enough)

Yeeeeeees, says he in a deep Clarksonian voice.

    @smac, what did a forget?

@AnxietyRanger how about this for some fun:

    Morgan 3 Wheeler EV EV3

Personally I'd be _super_ interested in a factory version of this :
