Would this screen defect be covered under warranty? (2016)

Yes, they treat the screen with a UV device to clear up the yellow/brown border.

Yes I just had this fixed under warranty in Houston. Our temperatures here (aka hot) cause the glue to yellow over time and they use a UV lamp on it for some amount of time to turn the glue color back to clear (we’ll almost to clear).
