Would you get FSD for a leased car

Would you buy FSD in MY if you were purchasing the car?

No, but that's mainly due to the fact that it would increase the MSRP beyond the point where it would qualify for a NJ rebate of $5k. My original plan was to buy the MY sans FSD, then use the $5k as a partial payment for it after I receive the rebate. Now, I think I'll wait until the subscription service is available and try it that way first.

Definitely not, not a good use of funds. I leased my MY and was excited to see the acceleration boost option and jumped on it even knowing I won’t get a refund when I turn in the lease. FSD is a much bigger investment and would only consider it if I were purchasing the car, then only maybe.

No, I think it will be quite a while before FAD really delivers value. Definitely not worth it on a lease - this from someone who sold their FSD-equipped 3 after two years and realized in hindsight it was a bit of a waste....
