Would you get this dent removed?

I get the feeling you don't have a lot of experience with PDR and spot repairs. Sure he could replace with a new, painted hood but there are cheaper ways to repair this to the point where nobody will be able to tell the dents were there. Also those are dents not holes lol.

Am I wrong that back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, people didn't repair dents as often? I recall lots of cars, including my VW and then my MGA, with dents, mismatched panels, and rust.

This is one reason I'm actually excited for the Cybertruck. I'm tired of having a car that I have to always worry about scratches/dents. I want a utility car that I can park anywhere, go camping with, and not be worrying about the next ding (while still having a new car with warranty).

Cars back then were designed to go through accidents, not absorb them.

The very reason I went with the 3 over the S is the repeated small scratches/dents that always happen to vehicles. I'd care too much with an S.
My 3 was royally beaten up for years and I just didn't care. I sold it for what I paid for it. Imperfections and all! Didn't invest a dime or a minute of time worrying about it.
Just got my first noticeable scratch on my new 3 from some idiot with a purse in a parking lot. As I said, I'm glad I don't have an S!

Call around to scrap yards and see if you can get a used hood in the same color. Plenty of wrecked Model 3's
