Wow! Really Tesla? Are you guys made in China? Water leaking inside the trunk

Is anyone experiencing water leaking inside the trunk while getting a carwash? Because i think my M3 is a defective vehicle. I seen videos online of water dripping inside while the trunk lid is open, but my trunk is completely shut. Let me think +️= might lead to

This was my second wash of the M3. Just got this car two weeks ago. The first time left a mess. So i decided to document this to see if anyone is affected by this.

I’ve washed my Model 3 probably 6 or 7 times and have had it sitting outside during extremely heavy rainfall since owning the car for almost 4 months and have not experienced a drop of water inside the car.

He didnt say much. I’m scheduled for service on Thursday. I’ll find out and keep you guys posted. I’m just unlucky with this car. I might have to buy a lottery ticket tomorrow. Lol

That's some heavy leaking.. is like the seal is completely missing or something. Have you taken a look under the trunk lid and see if something is obviously missing?

Defective seems like a huge leap. Maybe a missing, broken, or poorly installed gasket seal, but that should be an easy fix.

I am pretty sure this is because of defective trunk seal. Some inexperienced worker screwed it up. Should pretty easy to reinstall new trunk lid seal.

Everything is there. The seals looks fine. Just cant find out how would it leak. Hopefully Tesla can repair it.

Calm down and call Tesla service. They’ll fix it. I had a cabin leak in my older Model S and they fixed that quickly.

When i washed my car, i had water in the trunk. Had Tesla Mobile Service come out and fix it (they added silicone caulk in a few areas). This was over a month ago, and I haven't looked to see if that truly fixed it.
