Woman claims self-driving Uber struck her car, left the scene Uber gave Autonomous Science another bad reputation again as it hit a small Kia on 2/24/208 which made the Kia undriveable. The driver of Uber Autonomous Vehicle promised the victim that it would take care of everything from getting her a ride home, towing, compensating her... Uber Autonomous Vehicle and its driver then left and the victim is still waiting for all those promises to be fulfilled because Uber said it contacted insurance companies and would not make "any changes or actions taken because of the crash."
Uber just should quit before they give 2 black eyes to SDC efforts. Even after stealing Waymo tech and trade secrets they still can't do it right...
There were quite many accidents happened involving self-driving cars in these past few weeks. I just read an article at Driverless, Self Driving Autonomous Car Accident Injury Lawyers. I think it's unclear for now who takes responsibility if such accidents happen.
Define "many"! On the average, there are about average 3,287 automobile accident deaths a day globally. Of those, for last week, now that Uber is out of the picture for an undefined timeline, how many Autonomous Vehicle Accident deaths that were defined as many?
That's not really comparable like that. I doubt there are even 3,287 fully autonomous cars in existence...
