Woz is unhappy... Should Elon respond?

So apparently Steve Wozniak is not very thrilled with Tesla and even threw in a minor crash reference as some not so subtle hint that he didn't think it was his fault...

Does anyone here think Elon should respond given the high profile nature of Woz? He has some valid criticism that have been discussed at length here...

Since he says he doesn't believe anything said, probably not worth the time. He'd just publicize that and it would make the news rounds all over again.

Woz was mostly just stating facts, and those facts are true.
I doubt Elon would want to say anything about those.
Certainly Tesla lawyers would not want any off the cuff comments relating to things like timelines of FSD and promisses given how much money Tesla had collected for FSD.

He’s not wrong about autopilot development being way behind. Other than that, Elon has come through on almost everything he promised, if usually a bit behind schedule.

I think Woz is on the mark here. Elon has over promised, under delivered, and we still love the cars. What's the controversy? Eventually Elon is going to have to deliver or face the market consequences. The competition is not going to slow down.

Well, to be fair, Jobs was a complete and utter ahole.

Woz had good reason to resent Jobs, especially given the fact that Jobs had cheated him out of a sizable amount of money in a side project for Atari. However, I recall that Woz had gotten over this, though it took a long time.

Probably because he’s afraid of door dings, curb rash, valets and tight parking spaces, not because it’s better. My view is it’s a misleading statement at best.

The Bolt is a fine car and I applaud GM for making an affordable EV that doesn't totally suck. But it cannot be nearly as good when compared to the Model S (once you have paid for both that is). It is a little smaller I give you that (and it is debatable whether that is a good thing), but it is worse in all aspect.

I do agree with Woz's comment that Tesla's autopilot is way behind. Late is better than never, I just hope late means I still have this car when it comes.

Jobs was troubled throughout much of his life. The Walter Isaacson biography has numerous stories about Jobs’ cantankerous nature.
