Wrap Color - Satin Dark Gray or Satin Black?

Hi all, just picked up a 2018 Model S in black and wanted to wrap it. I’m torn between satin dark gray and satin black.

I wish the satin dark gray was darker and the satin black was lighter. I have black onyx wheels.

Guess I’m just looking for opinions because I’m so torn.

If it helps, i have black onyx wheels and plan on doing gloss black chrome delete.

Depends, you want the full murdered out look that you see quite a bit now or do you want something slightly different?

I would lean toward the gray just to be a bit different, but full black out is a tried and true good look.

Sorry I guess I'm no help lol. Maybe look for more wrap colors, with 2 or the quality manf surely there is one out there fits the bill your looking for?

Matte/satin black is played out and has been for a few years now in the car world. I’d go grey.

I went with a dark gray satin. I will post pics when I get the car back. I’m really excited about it!

Just got my car back over the weekend and absolutely love the colors I picked.

Matte Charcoal Metallic
Satin Black chrome delete
Tiffany Blue accents

Looks great! I have a black Model S and was torn between the same two colors. Still not 100% sure. I think the facelift looks better in dark grey but because of the nosecone, I think older pre-facelift cars (like mine) may look better in satin black...

I like how the satin black looks during the day but at night it’s just too dark with chrome delete and dark wheels. But I know what you mean with the nosecone. I had a 2013.

Let me know what you decide.

Wow, your satin grey is amazing! We just had our black X wrapped in Suntek Ultra satin and love it. Thank you for posting those excellent pics!
