Not happy for this story at all, but nothing is "being made" of the fact that the driver was handling all acceleration/braking/lane choices by himself.

I hate that Tesla's have issues with static vehicles on the highway, and dream of the day when you run a ~0% chance of wrecking while on AP, but until then, humans are also very bad at driving.
