Wrong music duration

Greetings,

I recently purchased my first Tesla 3 Performance 2020 and I'm experiencing an odd issue with one particular song (haven't noticed the problem on any other songs). The duration of the song is 3 hours, which has been placed on a USB that I am using for music. However, the problem is that in the car the song is only shown as 33 minutes long instead of the full 3 hours, from what I can tell it's the first 33 minutes out of the 3 hours total. I have checked the song itself on my PC by plugging in the same USB and it shows normally 3 hours and plays fine too, so I am certain it's a Tesla problem here. And yes I have multiple 3 hour songs on this USB and the others seem to be okay.

Any ideas?

Maybe the metadata inside the song file is inconsistent with the actual audio duration.

Maybe try using desktop tools to examine the metadata fields.

Greetings, the metadata shows the duration at the correct 3 hours.

Yes, it does sound like a Tesla bug.
You might be able to work around it by recompressing that file at a different bitrate or encoding.
