WSJ article on wait times at Tesla Superchargers

A tragedy of the commons problem can certainly occur if Tesla completely ignores it.

So far there is no evidence that Tesla is ignoring it. Quite the opposite, with all the expanded sites and new sites in California. We don't hear complaints about overcrowding at Hawthorne any more and that used to be one of the biggest complaints here.

But wouldn't that delay the other drivers more as they would likely stay in the stall for the two hours?

I guess I assumed that if they aren't plugged in, they wouldn't still be parked there. If they are parked there without charging then other drivers could report them. Actually, once autopilot is enabled, the car could be programmed to leave the spot automatically if it isn't plugged in.
