Hello, looking to get into my first EV. I live in the Seattle area, but willing to go down to Bay Area (looking at you white HOV sticker holders) for the right car.

I'm pretty price conscious, so higher mileage is ok (>50k to 100k). Looking for a car with no more than 7% battery degradation. Only necessary options are Tech Package. Nice to haves would include rear facing seats, pano roof and air suspension. No color preference although prefer black interior due to having young kids. If you could include a comprehensive list of all parts changed (drivetrain, axles, door handles, etc.) and latest service done. Also when the battery/drivetrain warranty will expire. Thanks! Help us upgrade from our 2007 Corolla as the family hauler!

I don’t want this to sound like an ad, but go check this one out: https://www.paramountmotorsnw.com/details/used-2012-tesla-model-s/50744916

I bought a 2015 Model S from them and have nothing but praise so far. I took the car to Tesla for service a few days after buying it and Tesla found damage in the radar and radiator. These guys apologized and actually agreed to pay for repairs as they missed it themselves. Very low pressure as well, they let me sit in the car and look around for hours and didn’t talk to me at all once I didn’t have any questions.

I also found one tire had small damage a few days after buying it, and they sent me a cheque to pay for a new tire. Plus they gave me a $250 discount because they didn’t have the second fob (Tesla never gave it to them apparently). I was mind blown.

They sell EVs almost exclusively and know things about these cars. You can go see it, test drive it, take it to Tesla for inspection(although Tesla probably won’t be able to do it in less than a week).

They are also less than a mile away from Tesla Seattle SC and you can take the car there to check with them on warranty and other stuff, but I am sure the guys at the Paramount will know.

The downside is you don’t get extended warranty (which I wouldn’t purchase anyway), but remaining 8 year unlimited miles battery and drive unit warranty still remains in full, if the car had it originally.
