In my attempt to make it through a yellow light yesterday I failed to notice two quite deep manhole covers. End result was a popped a tire and ever so slightly damaged the rim. (I made that damn light though!)
As luck would have it I was one block from the Service Center so I just drove up there and got a new tire so I could be on my way home. They wanted to sell me a new rim for who knows how much (somewhere north of 1k) but I declined figuring I can get one secondhand.
There is a very slight vibration, like really almost nothing, so I'd like to get a wheel at some point but it's not a rush. The car drives just fine and we're coming up on the winter wheel/tire swap anyway.
If anyone has one laying around I'd be interested in getting it shipped to 17408. It wouldn't need to have TPMS or a center cap but if those are on it and you need to recoup their worth instead of taking them off that's ok with me.
