X is bigger than my garage

When our X arrives it will be living in the garage which is being built by converting the existing carport with sides and an electric door.
So today I decided to measure up my carport to see what room I will have around our new X.
Well it doesn’t fit. The length of the X is about 30cm longer than the carport is. This is annoying. Obviously not the cars fault. Bigger the better. But now need to spend some time trying to gain additional size to the garage to make it fit. A small half meter extension hidden behind the new walls and door going on.
Been driving my wife crazy with all the Tesla talk (i’m a bit excited) and now all the talk about how to fit it in our garage.

I had the same problem and had to get a stackable washer/dryer combo to get the depth.

Easier said than done.

Hopefully can add another couple of tiles but make it more flat roof as no room to drop it further as electric door wouldn’t fit then.

Funny. My old RR fit just fine, but I found that the X only leaves me a few inches to close the door. To clear the threshold, I actually have to keep pulling it forward a bit even while the front sensor is screaming STOP. I have a feeling this is going to end badly one day.
