Tesla Model X Plaid Xpel ULTIMATE Clear Bra PPF Paint Protection Film​

As just mentioned, here's the Tesla Model X Plaid that was just completed at Seattle ClearBra.

The guys installed the following Tesla protective film and coating:

• Xpel ULTIMATE clear bra PPF paint protection film
• Xpel ULTIMATE on headlight, signal light, B-C Pillars, Handles
• Xpel FUSION Ceramic Coating

This is the third plaid this month, being one Model X and two Model S Plaids. We expect many more to follow along with all other Tesla models as the spring season get underway.

Over the Christmas holidays we had more of the renovations completed while the shop was closed. These renovations really brought the shop around to looking more complete. The main renos completed were the painting of the whole shop, protective barrier applied to ceiling to limit dust and lint along with the very high quality quartz epoxy floor installed. You can see some of the changes from the old poictures to the current ones of the Model X Plaid in this post. We'll also post some pictures of the shop in the near future for all to see the tranformation happening so far here at the Seattle ClearBra location in Redmond Washington.

We've been running a bit behind due to booking two weeks, in one, during the Christmas holidays but now back on track thankfully. We had many late evenings till 3-4 AM working along dilligently 7 days per week to get the backlog through the shop. Thank you everyone for you patiance during this time. We are happy to get back to our regular schedualing time lines.

The average timeline for Tesla installations are as follows

Full Coverage, Tint, Ceramic Coating - 7 days
Full Coverage ULTIMATE or STEALTH - 5-7 days
Full Front and Rocker Panels - 2-3 days
Tinting - Same day to Overnight
Ceramic Coating - 2-3 days

Here's some the the transformation thats been going on at the Seattle ClearBra shop in Redmond Washington to help service our Vehicle Protection Services in a proper working enviorment.

When we have a chance, we'll add some of the original pictures of the shop when leased on day one, to fully appreciate the transformation so far.

Some of the key changes are as follows:

• Walls removed to expand the shop by about 2000 Sq ft
• Open areas drywalled and sealed in
• Drainage for wash bay
• Ceiling fully covered
• New LED lighting
• Full repainting
• Quartz epoxy flooring
• Water filtration
• Laundry hookups
• Double basin wash sinks

We'll be continuing our effort by having the waiting area completed by early spring. Along with this the addition of many other storage solutions and working equipment to help us push forward in order to have the best work enviorment possible. This will all aid us in ofering proficiant, top quality clean installations for our Tesla clients and others here at Seattle ClearBra.

Tesla Model S Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION Clear Bra PPF​

Another Tesla Model S all wrapped up and back on the road protected with Xpel.

The guys installed the following:

• Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION ceramic coated clear bra PPF paint protection film
• Xpel PRIME XR - To be done closer to spring
• Xpel STEALTH screen protectors
• Xpel STEALTH interior console protection
• Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION headlight and signal light protection
• Gloss black painted emblems. (Not cheap vinyl or plastidip, they're actually painted)

The Tesla Model S was done in the brand new Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION clear bra. This new film is not only smoother but also has a built-in ceramic coating.

We've seen a very busy winter season of Tesla installations. Fortunately, we've now caught up with our protection installations at the Seattle ClearBra shop in Redmond just in time for the busy spring season. This will allow us to accommodate the spring rush on Tesla deliveries that normally come this time of year. Our booking schedule as of posting, is for next week. We do always attempt to get your Tesla dropped off at the shop, on the day of your pickup, without the usual 2–3-week notice, so long as there can be patience afforded to us on our completion timelines.

Here's a STEK Dynoflex windshield film we installed while doing the full coverage Xpel clear bra ppf paint protection film in this Tesla Model Y. Tesla Model 3 DYNOpurple Color Change Clear Bra PPF​

Holy purple batman... This is going to be a Tesla Model 3 for the books. We are in the process of a change from the factory white to a purple clear bra with the help of STEK DYNOpurple PPF at our Seattle ClearBra location in Redmond Washington.

The following films are being applied:

• DYNOpurple color change clear bra paint protection film
• Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION on head lights, signal lights, taillights and b-pillars
• Xpel PRIME XR heat rejecting window tint

We'll be posting some finished pictures of this amazing transformation on a Tesla Model 3, using STEK DYNOpurple clear bra ppf paint protection film very soon. This film has an amazing look to it, and certainly will set your Tesla apart from all the others out there. With this type of protection option, you'll get allot more longevity than a thin vinyl wrap color change. Vinyl wrap will chip very easily, has no self-healing properties and a limited warranty vs a color change clear bra PPF with a 10-year warranty, rock chip protection, self-healing surface and a hydrophobic ceramic coating finish applied during the manufacturing process.

For now, you can feast your eyes on some of the transformation process going on here at Seattle ClearBra. As you see, this type of transformation cannot be a simple process of just tucking an edge here or there. To do it right, you need to remove a great deal of pieces to accomplish a clean look, hiding as much of the original color as possible.

Tesla Model 3 DYNOpurple Color Change Clear Bra PPF​

Holy purple batman, to say it again... This is a Tesla Model 3 for the books. We have finished the changeover on the Tesla Model 3 from the factory white to a purple clear bra paint protection film, with the help of STEK DYNOpurple PPF at our Seattle ClearBra location in Redmond Washington.

The following films are being applied:

• DYNOpurple color change clear bra paint protection film
• Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION on head lights, signal lights, taillights and b-pillars
• Xpel PRIME XR heat rejecting window tint

What a challenge this installation was, and very time consuming. In the end we nearly covered every last millimeter of the original white paint job. We had to remove the rear bumper, mirror caps, trim around the windows, drop the front bumper, side cameras, emblems, all lights and even the front fenders to get the wraps far enough around to hide near all of the white. Through this process we even learned a little more than we already knew by taking off the front fenders. this will increase our abilities for all future installations, when it comes to color change clear bra.

Keep in mind this is not a vinyl wrap and is actually a clear bra PPF paint protection film designed to last upwards of 10 years or more, self-healing surface and a ceramic coating pre-installed during the manufacturing process by STEK.

Some ask what's the cost on something like this. The answer is around $9000-10,000 depending on what lengths you want us to go, hiding all the edges, original car color etc... Of course, we could do it cheaper by cutting corners, but we feel strongly that would not the best outcome for a Tesla owner, nor us as a company, as we want people to see what can be done with these new color clear bra installations. Over the years at our Vancouver Canada location, we've become the premier and leading installer on Tesla vehicles. We expect to carry forward that same momentum and dedication for our Great Seattle clients.

2022 Tesla Model X Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION Clear Bra PPF​

Another blue 2022 Tesla Model X with a full coverage clear bra ppf paint protection film done at Seattle ClearBra at our Redmond Washington shop and ready to hit the road rolling along protected with Xpel.

The guys installed the following:

• Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION ceramic coated clear bra PPF paint protection film
• Xpel PRIME XR - To be done closer to spring

• Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION headlight and signal light protection

The 2022 blue Tesla Model X is now done with the new Xpel ULTIMATE FUSION clear bra. This new film is not only smoother, but also has a built-in ceramic coating.

This was a great installation done over the course of a week and the results turned out very well. some little bubbles remain that will dry up and one little mark in the film that we may replace depending on if it dry's up this week or not.

We did notice one issue while installing, and that was a broken rear taillight where it goes up by the charging port door, on the rear driver's side. Unfortunately, we did not notice it up front when the Model X was dropped off and will have to assume something may have happened to it while here, or possibly the light was glued together, then when we used the iso propyl alcohol to clean the area off the glue turned white which led us to fidgeting with it and exposing the crack more, leading to the whole piece coming off. This all said, we agreed we'd pay for a new taillight, and have Tesla install it this week.

As with any business issues may happen but what's most important is how does the business handle it. In this case, since we did not see it up front, we have to assume somehow, we caused it, and will always stand behind our quality of service. In short, we agreed to pay approx. 475 for the new taillight and have Tesla install it this week.

Beyond that the only other little thing we noticed was a small clear coat run at the bottom of one of the fenders, left behind from when the Model X was painted at the Tesla factory.

We look forward to keeping up the roll with our Tesla vehicle protection installations and look forward to meeting many more of you over the coming months of spring deliveries.

The wrap did its job well, no scratches or anything, just a massive dent in the metal trunk hatch. They are going to replace the entire trunk hatch with a new one. They said they hope to have the replacement part from tesla next month.

This was a red 2023 Tesla Model X that came in for a full coverage Xpel clear bra ppf paint protection at our Seattle ClearBra shop in Redmond Washington. He lived about an hour up north and seeked us out for a quality installation vs the budget installation that's offered by most shop in the area.
