No mate, it's all computer cut and completely reversible. Its PPF not vinyl so its protecting and changing the colour at the same time.

Panel alignment isn’t tesla’s strong point

I’ve used these guys. Can recommend. Drove it straight from Alexandria to get PPF with them. Also got the ceramic coating. The car is easy to wash and the paint looks pristine with no swirls. It has also stopped stone chips as advertised. A couple of very minor nicks in the film but no damage to the paint. It’s expensive but if you put the km’s on your car like I do, it’s worth it.
