Vendor Xpel STEALTH PPF projects by Auto Armour

We wanted to begin sharing some of the in depth projects we have going on in our shop. These projects are primarily Xpel Stealth and I'll list the other services below. We have been serving the Socal area out of San Diego for over 10 years and in the clear bra industry for over 14 years. We have been constantly pushing the capabilities of clear bra application to new levels year after year. You can scroll down to see the extent we go through. The goal is to make it look like the car came from the factory like this.

We took delivery of our Tesla Model S LR and were looking for a good PPF/Ceramic/Tint place in the San Diego area. Found some places on internet search and they all looked great on the web but decided to do in person visits. One place on Miramar road quoted tint and PPF install in one day. We thought that was a little fast and a drive by of the garage bay showed an older Chevy that was getting a matte PPF. Didn't get a great vibe from the place and moved on. Went to a couple of "chains" and person giving an estimate was a little too young and slick for my taste. Saw a Honda getting worked on and looked fine so kept it under consideration. By the time we got to Auto Armour. we knew we wanted our car there but we were a little intimidated by the cars in the parking lot and in the bays. Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari were up front then also saw some Teslas! Alex was pleasant and professional and introduced us to Evan, who gave us a tour of all the bays. They had about six cars in various states of disassembly for PPF . We were thoroughly impressed and got a quote and made an appointment for front and rocker PPF, ceramic and tint. Quote was in line with others around town. Before our appointment we decided to get full PPF but they hadn't allotted the needed 7 days for PPF on the entire car. We picked up the car with front PPF and tint and will bring in back in two weeks for the rest of the car. We are very happy with the folks at Auto Armour and appreciate the care they take with our "forever" car. Austin kept us informed of the process from beginning to end, and was a pleasure to do business with. At the very least, pay them a visit and don't just compare web quotes.
