XPEL Stealth Washing/Care

I got a full wrap of Xpel Stealth, done by American Wrap Co. in Thousand Oaks, CA. They did a package deal that included all the external painted surfaces and the bottom of the door jambs, plus Xpel Ultimate on the headlights/taillights plus your choice of Ultimate or Stealth on the center console. I couldn't be happier with the result. It is subtle but really cool.

Just got the same wrap on model Y... Did your installer cut around the sensors? I just got it back today and they aren't working properly, it doesn't tell you the distance from objects.

Also, what type of logos did you get and how did you apply them? They removed mine and said they wouldn't put them on because it would damage the ppf. I was leaning towards getting matte black ones anyway but wasn't sure if I can apply on top of ppf

Yes they cutout for the sensors. They wrapped my T logos in vinyl and put them back on over the ppf with 3M glue. I had them leave the Dual Motor logo off. Not sure the vinyl will hold up so I might have to paint them or find matte black logos.

FYI. XPEL is no longer running the promotion from the beginning of this thread. But don't stop posting pics of your wraps. This thread helped me to make my decision to get mine wrapped and I'm so happy with it

thats a shame! I was looking forward to getting a bottle to try out. I would definetly rock their free t shirt too!
And you’re right, this thread totally helped me choose XPEL stealth too.
I just picked up my car and omg omg omg
It’s so pretty

They also did the xpel clear bra on my 2022 pilot black edition and did a great job.

Waxes do not damage ceramic coatings, but they are useless and aren’t recommended on matte-type finishes because they’ll accumulate in the more textured surface.
An OptiCoat No Rinse type product is the best choice for washing any matte-type finish, whether it’s ceramic coated or not.

Here is my 2023 MYLR with XPEL Stealth with XPEL Fusion Plus Ceramic Coating and XR+ Tint. I also had the roof blacked out, and got some new hubcaps for the wheels.

Installer:
Driven MN at drivenmn.com
Mention my Stealth MY for 10% off (they do AMAZING work)

Hubcaps:
TSportline

Here's my 2023 M3P with XPEL Stealth and a ceramic coating. It gets a lot of compliments! I usually just hose it off every week or two, or when it gets a splat, and give it a full two-bucket wash every month or so. I've been using Chemical Guys' "Mr. Pink" since it seemed like a safe, relatively mild choice, but I'll have to check out some of the options in this thread. The Mr. Pink tipped over in the bucket and leaked out about 2/3 of its contents (apparently the bottle doesn't actually seal!) so I'll have an opportunity to try something else soon.
