Y Upper A pillar interior trim / seal

Hi,
I brought my Y back to service for a gap on the front passenger side between the windshield and trim (Tesla service called it an Upper A pillar RH Trim). Tesla replaced the part but I still noticed the gap and felt that the trim was not fully secured, especially when I compared it to the Driver side. Have guys experienced something similar?

Looks like maybe they didn't secure all the clips. What happens if you just press real hard?

I’ve have the same problem but on the drivers side. Any follow up or resolution? I’m 2+ hours from service center so may just live with it.

hi, they replaced the piece and made sure the clips were secured. No issue since then.

I would send a picture of the loose trim then see if it can be done via mobile service

I had that - I also had it protruding from the bottom - looks like the guy or gal on the line (in the tent) - was lazy with A pillar QC...

My drivers side A pillar trim has a gap at the top.

I had this repaired today via mobile service. It took him 10 minutes max. He said the clips were broken at the factory. Replaced them and it's perfect, no longer sits outside the windshield mask and depresses the same amount as the drivers side.

Similar to the above post, Driver side A Pillar was bulging out. Mobile service came out and discovered one of the clips was broken. They replaced the part quickly and looks a lot better now without a bulge.
