#683 went to auction today. I wasn't able to watch live, so I'm not sure how it went. Hopefully someone will bring it back to life. Did anyone on here pick it up?
It bid to $27K. No sale and now resisted with a buy it now of $34K. They are nuts. It is only worth around $40K fixed, and thats only because of the clean title, but it shows a history of being stolen with unverified miles. If it was ran until dead back in Jan. when it was nabbed, the battery is probably beyond recovery (at least to 100%).
The killer is the fact is battery unknown but, abs I’m biased I know? It’s still a great car because it was joy ridden for one charge, its not like a lot of crashed salvaged cars. If the battery charges it’s a great price. Not give away but still great.
Resurfacing the auction link so we can all continue to keep tabs on her. Sad to see such a beautiful car relegated to this fate .
LOL at that piece of rope they "installed" to open the door. I guess they don't know you can open it from the bottom of the door...
Guys! I am the lucky owner of YellowBrick (that's what I called it). lol I've purchased it for $27K at IAAI. While transporting it to New York the roof was lost. I've purchased the only one that was for sale (blue one) from a fellow forum member. Currently the car is in Kiev, Ukraine, where I own tesla repair shop. My plan is to bring it to LIFE. We know what to do in case the battery is fully drained. If you are interested in the project I will update it in this thread.
Yes, please keep us posted on YellowBrick's return to life and health! Each of our cars has a story, and yours is writing a novel. Best of luck with it!
