Your view on dropping down a tire size to 245’s

    Thinking about dropping the width from 255 to 245 to gain more efficiency and have less weight. Those 255’s are massive.What’s your take on this.

    That’s great thanks, my custom wheels are stock 9.5” so I thing 245 will be good to go. Will report back at 45,000 miles when it’s time to replace them.

    B276CFEA-EA62-466F-86DE-ADB4E6B886F7.jpeg 245/40R 20 will be 4mm shorter in diameter and cause 1% Speedo error.

    You may have to bump up to 245/45R20

    I like the stock width and am averaging under 240 wh/mi so I think I’m fine with it...
