Tesla still doesn't know about the Rozelle Interchange

Yep, the "display" comes from Google maps, which is real-time. The navigation data comes from TomTom, and gets periodically updated (see your nav version). So, you are seeing the tunnels, but the nav isn't using them. TomTom has been updated, and the next Nav update should include them...

You are forgetting the pirouette that is performed after the step forward... :)

The 2022 M3 does the same.

Yeah, the lanes approaching the Campbelltown supercharger (on Narellan road) are an example. I much prefer the US standard of the yellow highlight of exit only lanes.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

After driving CBR-Tamworth return over the past 5 days (much of it at night), the thing I like most is "kangaroo/wombat-mode". As you close on a car from behind, it will dim the centre pixels, but keep the sides of the road illuminated. As you overtake, the dimmed pixels will simply "flow" over...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

It used to do OK (2022 M3) with Autosteer beta and traffic light control, but the last few releases generally result in the "Autosteer aborted" red screen for the roundabouts it previously worked on. (The car will typically get about 1/3 of the way and then give up) It isn't that hard to find...

My local average speed zone in Canberra shows as a speed camera (which it is not) instead of as an average speed zone.

By default it is off. There is a new menu option to enable it.

If only it could tell the difference between "round" traffic lights and "arrow" traffic lights when the lights are a double bank in the median. As of 2024.14.3, it still has the single UI display flashing red/green about once per second. It is not just the UI though, as this then leads to false...

Tesla still doesn't know about the Rozelle Interchange

Due to the news about traffic, I have assigned the Rozelle interchange as a "no go" area, but if the behaviour is like the north connex on Tuesday, there is a problem with "GPS drift". In other words, you eventually get far enough away from the maps idea of where the tunnel is that the car...

Gen 2 wall charger recording watts supplied

Not sure what the Gen 2 can do, but a Gen 3 added to the Tesla app will give you something like the the following. (Some of the times are lengthy as I often have it at half speed to match the solar array)

Actual wall kw to km rate

Earlier, you mentioned the typical speed you drive at. Drag consumes much more energy at higher speeds (it is a velocity cubed factor). The difference in energy consumption between, say, 110 and 115 can actually be seen in the statistics provided by my M3. (A lot of reported statistics include...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

My route on Friday started in Tamworth and ended in CBR. Much the same observations as doggy, but did have a few "Poor visibility, speed has been reduced" warnings, variously on the New England, Pacific and Hume sections, when the fairly constant rain intensified a bit or the trucks threw up too...

    Recommendations sought re: charging networks

Oh, and the Superchargers here have two charging cables (a la Europe). When you pull up to your first Oz supercharger, you will stare at them just like a first time owner here, and try to figure out which to use. You want the the bulkier looking one.
