Looking forward to hear how it goes. I'm terrified a less-experienced shop wouldn't be able to put everything back as tight as from the factory. I haven't found an installer in the Denver area. Hope it goes well for you.

After a hail storm peppered our neighborhood we've had roofers around for a year coming and going. I pick up nails from the road almost every time I walk the dog. It's too easy not to add the spare.

Sorry, I don't think so. I'm on the fence about keeping them and wouldn't want to deal with the hassle of boxing and shipping.

How much did you spend on the iX?

I did change to Hankook ion evo tires and that reduced a lot of road noise. If it's coming from the tire contact I'd think we should be able to insulate the wheel wells, floor, and doors with some improvement. I worry about adding rattles if it's not put back together as well as from the factory.

I'm intrigued by the idea of a shop installing sound deadening under the carpet in the cabin. Looks like they are in the Northeast. I called a local Car stereo installation shop thinking they use noise deadening/butyl to see if they could install in a Tesla Model Y. Of course they were...
