    Newb: Winter Cold Weather Charging?

Do you have any basis for this? I would be concerned the car could cannibalize battery power to keep warm enough for changing to occur, faster than you could put it back in. Plugging in directly on arrival wouldn't be a bad idea but keep an eye on what it is achieving. It really would depend...

Regen Braking Decline Toward 100% Charge: Binary or Graduated?

How does blended brake optimised range? To my mind charge to 100% and remember to brake as required would make for longest range.

    Newb: Winter Cold Weather Charging?

I would not even bother with the wall charging outside in subzero. Make sure the car is fully off when you park up. Supercharge before you get in with enough juice to arrive with 60%. That should be enough to run a couple of errands with preset departures, and get you back to a supercharger on...

    Bush Engineering Roof Rack Challenge.

400 ish wide 150 high. I did not want to suction onto the glass. It takes three pretty hoofy magnets to hold it on at 100kph on a steel roof. Two were trialed and failed. Three for the win, but it's not that easy to remove it! Could not trust that to suction devices that would be cooking in...

    Back seats and camping

Unless you are a real shortarse you will be diagonal across to some extent. I am 5 10 and a side sleeper also. My advice is forget about the slight angle and concentrate on a mattress. As soft as the carpet feels it is thin and the back of the seat is hard as rock on my hips. The only sleep I...

I've enagaged lawyers in an attempt to recover FSD cost (Australian owner)

Not least would be paying your legal expenses. I think a judge would take a dim view of someone with enough money to pay their lawyer rather than comply with a tribunal ruling.

Charging Port door closes immediately after opening

Sounds easy enough so long as its applicable to MYLR.

    H&R Adventure Spring Lift anyone?

I was under the impression they come with too much neg camber. Adding some positive camber via spacers would be a good thing for not chewing up inside edges of tyres before the rest is worn out.
  9. Q

    H&R Adventure Spring Lift anyone?

I guess it rides similar enough but you have changed the geometry nonetheless. More camber.

Any one knows if this plastic piece belongs to model Y? [resolved]

I was going to say it looks like some kind of pipe holder, no idea why it is on your driven but Genius Boy finds it in Google. It's a brave new world alright.

Used Model Y problem with glass / warranty claim

From hanging around the forum for the last month or so... Once a service manager says you are going to be taken care of it goes along nicely.

    H&R Adventure Spring Lift anyone?

    Can you draw a picture?

    Heat pump compressor short cycling

I'll say it again. Get the service manager to take your car for a week. If they still deny there is anything wrong you will have the energy use report to put in your complaint to whoever runs the motor vehicle commerce supervision over there. Over here it is a bit like a small claims court for...

    Tesla Bot

Shovel snow like a human as in make a plan and deal to the snow with the least amount of shifting snow twice? That's almost up at the coffee test level.of cognition. You could give it instructions and it might do not a too bad of a job if you stood there making sure it wasn't making more work...

    Tesla Bot

It can 'play' football. It can stand up if you push it over. What else would you like it to do without a human controlling it? Better hope it doesn't get mad at you and decide your head is best removed from your shoulders by swinging you by it.
