    OTHER EV’S SUCK

I would avoid that situation with any EV. Or any ICE vehicle for that matter.

    OTHER EV’S SUCK

We have a ‘23 MYP and just took delivery of a ‘23 Ford Lightning XLT ER. The current incentives on the Ford made it a real bargain. It’s really smooth, quiet, and comfortable. And we can use the Tesla charging network now too, although we always charge at home (solar panels). The Tesla is...

2023 plaid x high speed hard braking stability issue

New brake pads typically need to be bedded before hard use. How often and how hard had you used your brakes prior to this event?

Irresponsible thoughts of upgrading my Y to an S

Do you have any statistics, other than your single data point, to show the newer models are less reliable than the older models?

Irresponsible thoughts of upgrading my Y to an S

I had read some of the earlier Model Xs had teething issues like this. My SC guy said the current versions resolved them.

Irresponsible thoughts of upgrading my Y to an S

How does the reliability of the X differ from the S?

Irresponsible thoughts of upgrading my Y to an S

Wouldn’t it make more sense for a Model Y owner looking to upgrade to look at the Model X instead of the S?

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

I’ve asked this before, but haven’t seen a response. Has anyone tried having the half shafts balanced? In my old hot rodding days, whenever we shortened or modified a drive shaft, we always made sure to have it balanced as the final step to avoid any potential vibrations. Perhaps whoever...

    Are bragging rights worth $15k?

Similar here. I sold a Challenger Hellcat Redeye for the same reason. I put 335 series tires on the rear, and still couldn’t get it to hook up at launch. Tesla has it figured out.

Range of Model X Plaid refresh 2022+

I believe there are a couple of different test procedures that can be used for the EPA rating in the US. https://www.thedrive.com/guides-and-gear/how-the-epa-determines-ev-range
