    Got into an accident...

Back on June 19th while on the expressway I was hit on my passenger front wheel which destroyed the suspension. Took it to a Tesla Authorized body shop and initial repair costs is ~18K. I have a feeling that I will be without my car for at least 2 months. Already going on 5 weeks.... Noticed...

    FSD - 2k Price Jump 10.26.20

I passed on it when it was $6000 and never regretted it. I bought the car to drive, not for it to make life or death decisions for me while my family and myself are passengers. IF I was to start a "taxi" business in the future and used Tesla FSD to get people from point A to B then it might be...

    Financing rates

"Never Finance a Depreciating asset" This holds true if you have low credit score and can't secure a low interest rate. The majority of cars are NOT an investment. Its a tool. Be it a expensive tool or a cheap one all depends on a persons financial situation. If you drive it for 200k + miles...

Excessive fan running and cooling in normal driving: solved!

I have a 2009 911 and after taking off my bumper and cleaning the large amount of debris I made my own using a metal grill I cut and fabricated onto it similar to the link. I was planning on purchasing one by a company in Europe but they stopped making it by the time I got around to ordering...

Does the pre-Raven Air suspension have variable comfort settings?

    Performance S Ride Along

Why not go to a local Tesla Showroom/Dealer and test drive the Model S Performance for 30 minutes? That is what I did before purchasing, I actually test drove both the M3P and the MSP back to back.

What would be an accurate description of Model S drivers?

As a fellow Michigander unfortunately I get noticed too much on my black S.

Model S: Is the white interior too hard to keep clean?

Just keep baby wipes or some sort of cleaning solution with towel in the trunk and wipe every once in a while or as needed. It cleans up pretty easily. Even just plain water works for the most part.

    Tesla's a Software Company

I feel that Tesla is more of a energy company (Batteries and Solar) who happen to manufacturer transportation vehicles.

    Michigan Customers are Screwed!

As a Michigan resident I welcome the move to allow a Tesla Subsidy to provide a service center in the area but I find it dumb how the state is allowing the "selling in the state" part.

    Anyone running forged 19" wheels?

I have a 2019 Performance with the 21" wheels and changed to 19" Square config for Winter and couldn't really feel any difference in acceleration. Its fast either way but what I did notice was handling. This could be because of the winter tires. The only other difference I could feel was ride...

Is scheduled departure working consistently for you?

Its not accurate. For instance, have it set to leave 8am but it always finishes charging 1-3 hours before. Cabin is still cold and so is battery pack so no regen when I leave.

Ventilated seats in 'Raven' Performance models?

I have the White/CF purchased Sept 31 2019 and it does not have the Ventilated Seats. Performance version.

Out of curiosity, what do you hate about your Tesla?

As a new owner (picked up Sept 31 2019) I would have to say the worse part of my Tesla is not being able to keep from flooring it all the time and causing my range to be out of wack. Second would be range if I have a last minute meet up with friends and I knew I didn't have the power to get...
