I was curious, does anyone's mode 3 screen resemble this, or do you need full self-driving? The controls are still horrendous, this screen shows the only things you can change with one tap is, temperature, power usage, camera, films, toybox and media volume - how is that useful!!!?

I was thinking a similar thing. Perhaps someone takes a screenshot (me) and rearranges it, then people can keep adding to it or changing and then we can post it on Twitter to Elon.

Haha, love it. I am just miffed Tesla is so random with their latest update which is really really bad (don't just take my word for it). I played sonic as a kid and frankly couldn't care less if its in the car or not, there's free emulators or ipads for that sort of fun.

Scrap that, I have got this to work, so I now have functionality through the glovebox port. So I have one port and no Sonic and no wireless charging. One step forward but Tesla needs to address these issues sharpish.

I tried this and it didn't. The same controllers worked in my 2019 m3p perfectly in the front USB ports. I can't download sonic either.

The USB data ports deletion desicion is utterly appealing. It's not rhe car I test drove, nor the car I purchased online. Period.

I like my car but frankly getting pretty pissed off with the randomness of Tesla, this is my second vehicle but likely my last as the competition is beginning to overtake on many metrics.

@rbcopod I think this is not true and goes against multiple pages of the manual. The front USB ports will be fully functional or the manual supplied with the car is totally wrong as it clearly states on at least a dozen occasions that the front USB ports are mainly for data and the glovebox...

I tried it with the glove box port and it wouldn't work (2021). I had a 2019 m3p and the controllers were fine in the front ones. They have dropped a major doo doo on the new UI update which is utterly awful and sending out cars without proper functionality is total BS. I obviously think Tesla...

Haha, typical Tesla, no Sonic here and have everything else in the update. Connected to WiFi most of time. Not sure if it detects no front USB and wireless charging as delivered without. Who knows with Tesla, they are brilliant eccentric cars LOL.

Only charged full twice since new, this was a test. 8/9kwh seems a little excessive for preconditioning, sentry and the like, that's a huge amount of energy to use behind the scenes and isn't consistency with rated range at all. Can't argue with the car but that's £1.46 I won't get back ;)

It appears to be totally random. Which indicates it's outside the car on their servers, I think it's a pretty terrible idea relying totally on a mobile signal and Tesla servers for voice commands. It should have a 5 second rule where it defaults to known commands on the cars software it gets...

Hi M3P 20 inch wheel. I average 420 wh mile, 10 degrees Celsius 75mph with autopilot. I can achieve 250 wh mile at 40 mph or so but no chance at motorway speeds. I guess this is OK but miles off 320 mile range.

I have Model 3 Performance 20" and I am still learning. I had 278 after 90% charge, drove 20 aversge miles, and showed 248 on arrival which seems acceptable. I then woke up next day after car sat in in-laws drive so no charger and now it shows 228 range. Temp outside between 9 and 10 degrees...

Tesla is decades ahead of the "East". I would prefer small glitches bundled with space age tech, than tech that is outdated within 12 months by any other car maker. I believe if you buy a Tesla you should do so with eyes wide open and not grumble whenever a small issue occurs. There you go...
