were those the early batteries from 9-10 yrs ago, b/c Tesla has changed the designs of those battery structure and system over the years to make them more durable and reliable.

mine came in 3 pieces, held together with a small screw each. then you remove the 4 retainer clips under the front bumper. it comes with 4 longer retainer clips. the lip also has tape on the top and bottom and several strips on the side.

yes, you will use whatever lug nuts are on your car. if you have stock/factory wheels, then when you put on the Modern Spare, you would use the larger/wider holes. if you have aftermarket wheels, then when you put on the Modern Spare, you would use the smaller/narrower holes.

I haven't noticed any additional noise or rattles. the most difficult part was pushing and folding back the padding, its fairly thick and rigid. i believe both sets of holes are 5x114.3, the narrower set is aftermarket and the wider set are factory size.

5x114.3 pattern, factory lug nuts are wider at the base/cone/acorn, aftermarket lug nuts are narrower but they're both M14x1.5 thread aftermarket style stock/factory style got my Modern Spare last week. it had been sitting in the trunk. this week I did this mod.
