I can’t believe I’m making this post. I have a VIN. I ordered a LR gray/white 135 days ago and switched to performance with the same spec a couple days after the announcement. EDD went from May 29 - June 26 to June 7-13. Located in St. Louis.

Are you blind? The seats are clearly performance seats. The SR/LR seats look nothing like that. You can even see the black piping along the bolstering.

I am right with you, also SG/white bumped back to May 29 - June 26. I’m in the Midwest. Hopefully this is just a generic push back and we’ll get an earlier, more specific, EDD once everything gets approved and updated.

I’m sorry but as someone who has been waiting since January for a white interior, everyone needs to calm down with saying black interior is “delayed.” It hasn’t even been a month since the car was announced for gods sake.

Ordered a performance. Same config as my LR. I’ll see which one comes first and make a decision. It’s basically the same price just less range and bigger wheels/summer tires. I’ll cancel the other and eat the $250. Does anyone know if the performance is being made in Fremont?

Even if these inventory models are cancelations or rejects, Tesla should immediately be trying to match early Jan orders with cars. Any other company with even the slightest bit of sense would make an effort to match early orders with anything available.

Love seeing more VINs coming! Are most of the VINs coming for east coast people? I think that tracks what we’ve seen before where Tesla works easy to west as the quarter progresses.

Try pressing the indicator button more towards the center of the wheel than the outside. I’ve found if I press the indicator towards the outside edge that it’s hit or miss if the button actually registers input. But more towards the inside edge of the button works more consistently, although...

The VIN for that car is 718XXX so I don’t think that’s a sign that they are now producing white interior when people are getting VINs in the 733XXX.

718114 is the ending of the VIN. People on the main thread have been getting VINs in the 73XXXX so that demo model is fairly old. Given that I don’t think it’s likely that they’ve all of a sudden switched over to white interior production.

It just doesn’t make sense that they aren’t producing hardly any when clearly they can for demo models. Surely this isn’t just based on optimizing production schedule where you’d produce a bunch of black then bunch of white. And if that demo vehicle is them starting to produce white interior why...

Also I really hope those of you that have earlier EDDs keep your EDD range! But as someone who sat at April/May when others got pushed to May/June, I will warn you to not get your hopes up too much. Mine is now sitting at May 2 to June 6. Order date 1/10
