Is it weird that I haven’t used the wiper fluid once yet?

Hmm so you don’t have to push the brake twice? I have to brake, pin, brake and then auto shift puts it in drive.

One thing that annoys me with the brake pedal to drive is that I have a pin set so I find I have to press the brake pedal once to bring up the pin pad to unlock and then a second time to drive. Would be nice if both could occur with the one press.

I’m not a fan of Motor One (not from personal experience just what I’ve heard) but those prices look pretty reasonable except the interior protection. I’d skip that and do it yourself. I ordered Gyeon Q2 Leather Shield for $75 and applied it to my white seats pretty easily.

I was wondering when I might have received my car which had an EDD of Mar-Apr before switching to inventory stock and I see they have my exact order config in inventory so I guess they would have delivered within the EDD.

By paint wraps it depends whether you’re talking about protective paint film (PPF) or a vinyl wrap. PPF - clear film that’s applied to part or all of your car. Provides some protection against stone chips and scratches to the paint. Fairly costly to do the whole car - somewhere around $5-$7K...

Is it effective in minimising mud and debris spraying onto the body of the car? I haven’t seen much talk around whether it’s recommended to install on the model 3 or not.

That’s interesting. When I switched over to an inventory car the only thing Tesla could tell me was that it’s currently in transit. The VIN has a date of entry on RAV of 20/02 though.

Yep it's an existing inventory listing that's on its way. I'm guessing it's on Don Juan which is just getting into Brisbane now? I'm assuming mine will be the earlier end of the ETA so still possible you'll get yours by the end of April.

Just saw a 2024 pop up in Gold Coast inventory too. My specs (RWD, red, white interior) except the 19” Nova wheels as well. I’d drive down from Brisbane to grab it but not sure about paying the extra $1800 on wheels that I’d be nervous would get gutter rash anyway.

I ordered a few days earlier than that and yes still Mar-Apr. I’m not expecting to see much movement until maybe after Easter.

Out of interest what was your original EDD when you ordered? That’s quite a while to wait post COVID!

I just checked out Tesla for a trade-in estimate as well (didn’t do it as part of the order process just submitted it separately) and got a pretty lowball offer that was at least a few thousand under what other online car dealers have offered and even lower than what I could probably get...
