What was your order date and do you have an EDD?

Final Invoice today also with build date 14/05/24 (same as @V3nom ’s M3P) for my Quicksilver MYLR ordered 4/4/24 and EDD 6 July - 27 July (although Molace have it arriving 27 Jun so I’m optimistic of an earlier delivery).

If you’re putting the car on a novated lease (and frankly you’re insane if you can but don’t) then with the exclusion of FBT and GST you’re only paying for a bit over or under 1/2 the car and all it’s running costs anyway. I honestly don’t care about higher depreciation.

Just to confirm the OP’s question is in relation to M3? i.e., no-one seems to have anything other than vague month ranges for MY in quicksilver whereas people with M3 in quicksilver are reporting actual date ranges.

Called Tesla. Person = very helpful. Information I was given = disappointing (but at least I am informed and have the facts). Outcome = Quicksilver cars are in short supply and LR in Quicksilver more so. EDD removed because car is not on next shipment / no firm automated forecast. Was told not...

My EDD of “Apr - June 2024” also disappeared today and has been replaced with “We’ll notify you when it’s time to continue with your pre-delivery tasks”. Idk what this means. Order placed 04/04/24 for Quicksilver MYLR black interior and 19” Gemini’s.

Thanks for that … just trying to confirm my understanding that actual EDD dates (as opposed to a month - month range) occurs once the VIN is assigned and VIN is (usually?) assigned the day the car is manufactured. I.e., order > EDD month - month range > build (if not in inventory) > VIN > EDD...

@Sturty can you please confirm my understanding from the thread history that you had an EDD but then it disappeared? Also, do you have or did you have a VIN?

Hi … I’m new here. Ordered MYLR in quicksilver w/ 19” Gemini’s and black interior 4/4/24 … same day Tesla released quicksilver in Australia. Pretty happy with $8,500 price reduction in less than 3 weeks. No EDD … just an Apr - Jun 2024 range.
