After 4 long months, multiple delays. I was finally able to pick up the white interior model 3! Here’s a quick tour of it. Please helpful subscriber if you like the video =)

Follow up-I picked up my car today (video tour to come) and I was able to use the all weather mats from Tesla for the front and the back. The trunk one seems to fit okay. The center trays from Tesla don’t fit and doesn’t align, but I made it work by swapping the front tray to the arm rest and...

I don’t see why it won’t be. But yeah it’s really frustrating with Tesla. Same story with full self driving. Buying it at $10K+, and it’s cheaper now. I’m hoping that the $7,500 it can be applied to cars bought in 2024, and if it is brought already we can get it back in taxes lol.

For people that got the long range another bummer for us that waited so long. It seems like the car might be eligible for the tax credit. But don’t know if it would apply retroactively. Would be awesome if it did. Then the long range will be cheaper than the performance.

Super helpful, I’m picking up mine on 5/4 and would like to use my older model 3 mats. Glad the front mats still work!

You can try waypoints, but it will still select the most efficient way to get to that waypoint and then to your destination. So not sure if it is worth the hassle because the car will stop once it reaches the first waypoint and you’ll have to remove it from the map to continue your trip.

Tesla just increased the price of the performance model 3 by $1,000 and lowered the price of the white interior by $500 (only for performance). It cheaper than the long range after the ev credit tho

I haven’t picked up my car yet, 5/4 is the date, but I have FSD transfer in place and I see it in my app that “FSD transferred applied”. So fingers crossed I get it.

I wanted to switch to performance but unfortunately because I am transferring FSD to the LR, they aren’t able to honor that if I switch to performance.

Yup, you have to opt in to use FSD. I have a video that shows how to use it. If you’re avid FSD user, do they still have to show you how FSD works before they deliver the car to you?

Oh wow, I thought black interior moved you up the line. Maybe give Tesla a call and see what they say. Lots of people here mentioned getting their VIN right after switching to the black interior. I hope they can lower the price before I get my car too so I can save some money lol.

Yeah should be. But with the ev credit, it makes the performance cheaper than the long range when you purchase. But factoring in needing to buy winter tires. And performance generally needing to switch tires out more frequently. Plus less range. In the long run, it will cost more than the long...

Thanks for the update. I haven’t heard back from my SA, but I don’t think it’ll be any different. I just wish they will bring back the acceleration boost and I’ll fine with the LR. It is upsetting that the performance is cheaper than the LR now.

Yeah that is the issue that I’m facing now. But the model 3 long range also increased its price since I ordered back in January. And if my math is correct, it seems like the performance model after the ev credit cost just as much as my long range model 3. But I’ll have to pay more for winter...

Yeah I got a VIN over the weekend. My delivery date updated from 5/11-6/15 to 5/4-5/10

I’m in the same situation as you. I called Tesla to see if is possible to switch to performance and keep FSD transfer. The agent said she will check with upper management and email me back. If they don’t let me transfer, then I’ll keep the long range.
