    New Model 3 floor mats

Got mine today too. Here's my video of the install. The summary is this: They look great, like they were made for the car (obviously). If you are super worried about maximum all weather protection, you should get the 3D maxpider ones. I think for the price, the looks and functionality of these...

    BUY FSD TODAY!

For whatever it’s worth, yesterday while I was scheduling service and the employee was bantering waiting for something on his end he offered up “hey, you wanna know how much the Tesla/Intel/Invidia computer part costs to order? $19,000.” My first thought is that Tesla has it priced that way in...

Short Sellers drove WSJ Reviewer Dan Neil to deletion of his Twitter

Well this is mildly interesting, I have no recollection what I've done on Twitter to be blocked by this guy, but I am! Went to click on the link here and apparently he blocked me. Maybe he knows I'm one of the tens of thousands of extremely happy Tesla owners and he's just trying to spare me...

    Software update - 2018.26.1

Dying for this! How is the Bluetooth echo? I was told by Tesla that 2018.26 was the fix… (Still on 2018.21.9)

    Model 3 Software Version 2018.24.7 d133af3

I was told by Tesla over email that the Bluetooth echo is being fixed in 2018.26 - I’m still on 2018.21.9, I saw 24.7 pop up this morning in the “Stats” app in iOS. Hope to get some movement soon, I’d really like the cabin overheat protection!

Alliant Credit Union bails on Tesla loans

Just gotta say, my experience so far on “loan arranged through Tesla” has been great. I was approved within the hour. Especially considering it was .1% higher than other CUs I had been looking at. That works out to what, $50/yr? When you look at 72months they all seem to be about the same. (I’m...

    iOS SiriKit intents work!

Does it work for turning on the HVAC? It would be great to ask it to precondition your Car as you enter a checkout line without having to fiddle with opening the App. Btw, I think “where’s my car” might not be Tesla specific because this works with my 2013 Kia Optima. (Which has no app)...

I asked Tesla sales about the full self driving capability...

I love this thread. Taking money out of the equation for a second, I really love it when hardware I own wakes up one day with super cool new features. Earlier this week when my iPhone 7 Plus woke up with "portrait mode" after upgrading to iOS 10.1 I was completely stoked. It's like "surprise...

I asked Tesla sales about the full self driving capability...

I'm interested in the extra cameras that are unlocked as a result of FSD. While there is very little that's tangible for us to go on, this is one physical aspect that is stated on the Design Studio. I'm definitely thinking with opting for FSD with an April delivery. I'm certain that with...

    Model X 60D is Gone

Definitely took the wind out of my sails a bit. While we hadn't ordered yet, was kind of thinking tentatively getting ours as a 60D delivered in May '17 barring any cataclysm. Kind of funny though, I've been considering our daily travel looking at routes and superchargers for an eventual ModelX...

Thoughts after a weekend with Model X

Strangely our Kia Optima "fits" everything with ZERO wiggle room. It's not really comfortable, and certain equipment configurations won't fit all people. And also, if my wife packs the car it REALLY doesn't fit. ;) We had a minivan which was great, but turned into a "gear garage" which I didn't...

Thoughts after a weekend with Model X

My family was treated to a 24 hour test drive on a P90DL Model X this past weekend. I originally wrote this down for myself, but then realized it might be helpful for the community so I’m publishing it here on TMC. It's a bit long, but really it was written as a bit of a journal for myself...

    Model X Insurance

Bummer man! At the beginning of the summer our van got hit by an under-insured driver and it ended up being a total loss. State Farm (like a good neighbor) was totally there and handled the whole deal quickly and professionally. Sorry to hear they're jerking you around on your premium. My...

Wife wants Model X - Opinion?

Lol, y'all crack me up! It's been a whirlwind couple of years. Our business expanded 10x, and we went from one end of the spectrum to the other. With some of our expenditures we have to do a double take because we aren't entirely used to being able to buy such things. But safe to say, this...

Wife wants Model X - Opinion?

My wife was a bit aggravated with me doing an M3 reservation in March, too much for a car etc., last Tuesday she humored me going to the store to test drive a MX. She REALLY didn't want to drive it herself, it was for me etc. I insisted that she experience it. We did an auto-park, she took the...

    Model X Insurance

My State Farm agent just quoted me the following: multi- $1048.43 or $175/mo (Meaning we keep our hybrid sedan, this is how much the MX increases it) single- $1251.21 or $208.54/mo (Ditch our sedan and lose our multi-car discount) I was surprised and found this very reasonable for a car that...

What type of car is Model 3 replacing for you?

2013 Kia Optima Hybrid EX. I actually love my car, it's quite well equipped and I'm hoping that not too many things I've gotten used to with this ride turn into premium options for the Model 3 which would ratchet its price much higher than the 35k base. After having the Optima's dual sunroof...

    Supercharging, Franchise

Hi Y'all! First post here. Glad to be a part of the community. Seeing some discussion about supercharging, potential congestion as Model 3 hits the road en masse, pricing model potentials, etc. Seeing that Tesla is doubling their network by Model 3 release is indeed promising. Had a thought I...
