I have reposted a couple of pics. The MICHELIN PS AS4 265/40R21 and 295/40R21 are still riding fine with no rubbing, even under load, nice ride and as quiet as the OEMs. I am very happy with them.

265/40R21. > 10K miles with plenty of bumps and curves and have experienced no rubbing.

Here are a couple of photos of the 295/40R21 rears. Already hit a curb twice with these and no rash (of course the OEM tires gave zero protection)! Much better ride over potholes too.

Now with over 6000 miles on the Michelin PS AS4 265/40R21 fronts and 295/40R21 rears I have experienced no rubbing. No, I did not use spacers. By the way, my rear tire hit the curb pretty hard today while parking. I was lucky as the tire took the blow and the wheel was unscathed!

Even thought my 265/40R21 (29.3”) fronts and 295/40R21 (30.3”) rears are one 1" difference in diameter, they handle as good as or better than the OEM Pirellis and give a lot more pothole/rim protection.

I do agree that Tesla cannot afford to sell a $35K in the short term. But could easily be $50K+ and you cannot blame Tesla as they need the margin right out of the gate and to give the S a cushion.

I was within one week of pulling the trigger on an S. My wife and I had finally agreed on color and options. Then I told my her that the 3 will be 20% smaller at ~ half the price. She loves a "bargain" so she killed my S and I reserved the 3. Hope it will be worth the 2 year wait!
