i agree that every 175 miles makes sense. if you leave home with 100% battery you're probably looking at 200 to 250 miles for the first stop, then charging from 10 - 15% to 80%. charging from 80% is too slow, even with a nicely warm battery.

it would be nice to be able to tell the amazon device to ask the car to get the battery ready and interior warm/cool to depart. i don't leave the house every day and i don't leave at the same time every day.

preconditioning the car warms the steering wheel enough and with global warming, the car doesn't get very cold anyway. used to have a car with a heated steering wheel and thought such a thing was a necessity. otherwise, looking forward to rebuilding the control button locations on the touch screen.
