If it's RWD I don't see what's so bad about towing it like that. It has a standard double wishbone in the front. I bet it's because they just want to use standard instructions for all Teslas and don't want to differentiate between rwd or awd.

Based on the design I think the answer is 100%, just a matter of how long it will take. If your sensor is still dry then I would be looking at other avenues to get the coolant bypass done. Much cheaper than 6-7k down the road for a replacement. Just my opinion.

Maybe in 20 years at today's rate of FSD progress. I remember back in the early days of AP1, there was no steering nag at all. Those were the good days. I agree. And you can find a nag defeat device for the steering input too, which is a plus.

44k seems like too much for such high mileage. IMO. This depreciation is nothing new. Has always been like this. I got my 2016.5 in 2017 for 55k I think with just under 30k miles. Sticker on it is 96K.

I've only done the rear handles myself but personally I find it super easy to remove the handle without touching the window. Just need some low profile wrenches.

There is an issue with these gen3 handles where the harness or hall sensor fails, so the handle doesn't pass calibration and appears to be stuck.

The M5 is way, way more unique. It has so many different parts than the regular 5 series and a specially tuned chassis. The only thing a P100D does better than any other Model S is go fast in a straight line, which is why it's isn't worth very much. The Model 3 highland is a superior car now...

The new performance model is not going to be much slower than a P100D as it's also sub 3 seconds now. Obviously, it will be slower than a Plaid. However, unlike a P100D, it has adaptive suspension and track mode, as well as things like full regen.

The P100D is going to be way more clapped out being almost 10 years old now. The new model 3 has plenty of superior and innovative features like adaptive damping, track mode, vented sport seats, rear passenger display, etc. Oh, and it comes with a warranty. As far as driving experience goes...

Dec 2016 MS 75D that I've owned since 2017 The new Model 3 has way nicer seats, adaptive suspension, and it does 0-60 in under 3s. It will be better to drive as a performance car. No brainer at that price vs. a car that's almost a decade old

With the new Model 3 performance, I think it's way better value than a used P100D unless you need the extra room or the sunroof. Would most likley be cheaper to own too, especially if the P100D needs any battery or drive unit work.

Personally I use the Autosock. Easy to put on and off and no chance of damage. Also it's April, you don't need chains at this point.

I tried the new FSD again. It's trash. IMO v11 was way better. It drove me onto the shoulder and thought it was a lane, consistently goes over the lines on curves, and it drove in a bike lane for way too long. It might be more confident, but it's not any better.
