I assume they're talking about tethered chargers. For untethered chargers you can just disconnect the charging point end and the car will unlock its end.

Keeping an open mind is important, agreed. But that includes not only "accepting" the story that is written, but also critically analysing the source. Considering all evidence we have available, which includes the credibility of the source in this case, isn't "BS" - it's sensible.

What's to address? We don't have any additional insight into the goings on of that meeting or what Elon did or didn't do. But Reuters has shown itself repeatedly to be a cesspit of disinformation when it comes to Tesla, so I will treat it with the disdain it deserves.

In the UK leases are very popular and the interest rates are far more attractive on the Model Y. As somebody in the UK who will shortly take delivery of a new Model 3, I was seriously considering whether I could put up with a Model Y instead due to interest rates.

He's getting his data from the entire pool of data that Tesla processes. A lot more insight than any individual tester has. It is a work on progress and it currently works better in some areas than others, but it has far more potential than Waymo's system. They're fundamentally different approaches.

We've also gone over the fact comparing Waymo's "on rails" solution to Tesla's "go anywhere" solution is comparing apples to oranges, yet here we are.

The angry minority are always most vocal. And I know quite a few people who dislike Elon but would still vote yes because it's simply the right and ethical thing to do. Though some are in the UK, so it's hard for them to do so.
