    2023 Model X, how reliable?

No issues with my 2024 plaid, I love it. Rear camber can be a problem for the rear tires, if left untreated. You're probably missing out on hw4 and might be missing out on matrix headlights, which new ones have. The 22" wheels would have a rougher ride and slightly less range, than the 20" ones...

    Wheel Spacers on Model X

I went with these mud flaps from Amazon, because the lower part is flexible, which comes in handy for a lowered vehicle like NJturtlePower and I have. I know I had issues with my PY front flaps rubbing on occasion.

X Plaid Unplugged Performance Rear Sway Bar Review

Any refresh MXs out there with MPP Solid Front Lower Bearings and/or UPP rear sway bars

'24 MXP, lowered near max rear with lowering links and UPP set on the medium setting. Can't say I noticed any difference. Also noticed the UPP isn't much bigger than the stock, which makes me wonder if the plaid has a bigger rear sway bar than the LR? Maybe that's why I didn't notice much...

    Spring release 2024.14 for 23-24 Model X

14.9 for me too, previously 8.9 for over 2 months. I hope that's the quick path to 20.x. I bought EAP before the price drop and FSD as soon as I heard of it.

Model X door no longer open fully automatically without USS (ultra-sonic sensors)?

I see TeslaFi shows 12.3.6 now since I posted that. However, less than 1% are coming from 8.9, in fact closer to 0%.

Vendor Imfamouns Tire Wear Solution!! (2021+ Model S & X) w/ EVPE shims

When are you going to sell thicker shims for lowered X's? I currently have 9mm of shims and my rear camber is only -1°. I'm near max lowered in the rear, but always run at "low".

Show off your aftermarket Model X wheels...

I started with max rear lowered, then on my first test drive put it in very low and it bottomed out 2 blocks later. Never put it in very low again, except once when parked to get a pic. Two weeks later I bumped up the rear by one (half inch more over the wheel) since the link was touching the...

Vendor Imfamouns Tire Wear Solution!! (2021+ Model S & X) w/ EVPE shims

It bothers me to see all these X owners installing silver shims. I think the X needs a thicker shim than the S so every X (not lowered) which runs primarily in low, should be doing red. Even N2itive recommends -0.50° to -0.65° rear camber and you'd be lucky to get to -1.65° with silver at low...

    Wheel Spacers on Model X

That looks lower than mine. How did you get the rear so low? I'm at 8mm longer with a max of 9 for rear and still have 2" rear (and 1" front). When I was at 9, the rear link hits the sensor with the car jacked up. My front looks similar to yours tho. Saw a YT video where a shop was lowering a...

    Automatic Doors Getting Fixed!

Does 2024.20.1 have FSD? Trying to figure out if its something that should be on my radar. I purchased FSD after the price drop and have been stuck on 8.9 for 3 months.

What am I getting with Plaid vs Long Range?

Tires are expensive. In the meanwhile get some camber shims and a lifetime alignment, then you can get another one for free when you start swapping better parts.

Model X Falcon Wing Doors Rubbing Paint Off

My passenger door alignment when closed looks great, but it drops more than 1/4" when open, which some times caused a problem closing. So I put in a service request to get the door hinge adjusted. Mobile service came out and started adjusting the striker down a little (WTH?). It's marginally...

I'm going to assume my Blox Racing lowering links (which you have to measure with a micrometer) and your much nicer (and more expensive) N2itive links (calibrated like a caliper) are going to be relatively similar. They recommend adding no more than 8 mm over stock length, a limitation of the...

Used X Plaid or New Model X LR

When passing on the highway, whether you have 500, 600, 800, or 1,020 HP, it's going to get the job done pretty quick. You might notice a little difference compared to the lithium iron phosphate batteries for model s3/Y, but no Tesla is a dog in the performance category.

    All Terrain tires

Just get the red shims and an alignment from someone local and call it a day. No reason to do the rest. Might be a good idea to check out the lifetime alignment, about $100 more than one, which gets you one every 5,000 miles or so. It lets you tweak a bit on the next one if the red shims aren't...

About to receive a used MX 2018 Long Range - experiences about the real range?

I meant, how did you like your new vehicle? I'll let other comment on your 3.5 km per kw being good. My driving is typically city so my numbers wouldn't be good for comparison. Temp, elevation, and wind direction will all affect that. You should also check the condition of your tires...

    All Terrain tires

If the vertical angle from the front motors to the axles isn't optimal, it increases wear on the u-joints, which eventually leads to vibration. This is one of the reasons the model X & S default to the low setting. The other reason would be better aero for highway driving. Some users have had...

    All Terrain tires

I haven't noticed any downside from the camber shims. Using lowering links, I also lowered my front 2/3 of max (to save wear on front shaft rear) and rear to the max (to even it out somewhat) and nothing negative associated with that.
