There are less parts on a model 3 than a model S but when they break they can be expensive. In general, I dont think they have failing parts as much as an ICE vehicle of similar age / mileage, but when there is an issue, they tend to be expensive, and in general you can only take it to Tesla...

Im pretty sure Tesla doesnt sell a replacement cable for it. You could try someplace like EVSE adapters or something and see if they have one? I dont know if they do but if I needed one thats likely where I would look first. https://www.evseadapters.com/

People like to say this, but no it really doesnt. You are still paying for the depreciation on a lease. Every month you are paying part of the depreciation, depending on how much the lease is structured with higher residuals or not.

The phone app does not display its version in the same place the car firmware displays its version. the car firmware version is at the bottom of the car page. The app version shows when you click the 3 line menu to access your profile and look at the bottom there.
