Was wondering about the pros and cons of purchasing a Tesla (or vehicles in general) with a salvaged title. I do understand that the most likely reason for a vehicle having a salvaged title is previous damage of some sort. More interested in whether a salvaged title will increase insurance coverage premiums, and other factors to consider. Thanks in advance.

Insurance will be the same generally. Salvage cars don’t have warranty (similar to how an older car is out of warranty after a certain amount of miles). Taxes in some states may be cheaper. Supercharging is often disabled until inspection with Tesla is passed. Banks often don’t give out loans for salvage titles.
Generally salvage titles are good if you know the car was repaired well and you are planning to keep it for awhile (3+ years) as the initial purchase price will be 25-30% less than a similar car with a clean title.
