This update has reached about 290 (pending plus installed) (so not even 3%)

Got the update.

It's a completely reworked UI. Very happy with it. Visualizations have also improved significantly. Feels like a new car.

Hmm. He said "Europe and China, and, of course, Australia and UK down the road".

Quite annoying him using the phrase "of course" as if it's common knowledge... I have heard very little about FSD v12 coming to Australia other than that they employed some test drivers last year... which could mean 6 months/6 years... Although if Europe gets authorised, then that's good from a regulatory point of view - we often follow Europe closely. Would just need Tesla to get it's RHD/AU training done.

I'm still on 2024.8.9 and eagerly await the lastest update. I have noticed with 8.9, the visualization is smoother and it seems to be displaying more detailx (cars)?

Best update in a long time! I love the new UI, wiper adjustment via the scroll wheels, adaptive high beams improvements and nav enhancements. The larger speedometer is also welcome.

Auto wipers seem better, used it in rain and it was ok. No dry wipes yet, but I am sure they are coming lol.

I also noticed the huge improvement in FSD visuals - does this indicate a possible FSD launch here in the near future?

Anyone with older cars (Intel Atom chip) received the update yet. All the YT vids seem to be later AMD Ryzen cars

I like that gear change is a lot shorter. It didn’t need to be whole side of the screen. As I’m an impatient SoB, I’d often feck it up - I give this change a 27 out of 5

Wipers via scroll wheel is not new. Been there a while. What I think is new is that multiple presses of the wiper button on the stalk will changer wiper frequency. Though I do not yet actually have the update.

Wipers via scroll wheel is not new.

It used to be control via left/right on the left scroll wheel. The new change is that it's rolling the scroll wheel up and down after hitting the wiper button, so it's a lot easier now.
