I didn't mentioned truck brands just because I don't have the experience with other brands except Ford. Then there is the gas vs diesel debate about longevity. My 2014 F250 diesel has been running strong.

I wouldn't buy any car (besides a Tesla) that wasn't a Toyota, Honda, or Mazda. It's amazing that after 100 years of automobile technology that a car can't be built to last a few 100,000 miles without major issues.

If Tesla wanted to save weight they would have made the battery smaller and not big with half of it empty.

I bought a Microtech knock-off that is virtually identical to the real brand and saved about $400. The quality is very good.

My butt would be sore in ANY car after a 5 hr road trip. ;) Good news is that you have to stop about every 2-1/2 hrs to recharge.

I'm really liking the FSD the more I use it. A few hiccups here and there but I'm always prepared to take over. For some reason FSD doesn't see the big stop sign on a Farm to Market rd to my house. It will start braking a few hundred feet from the stop sign going from 65 mph to 0 mph.

I saw the full eclipse here. Doubt I'll ever get to Alaska. Was there last year visiting my son who is stationed near Anchorage (until August 2024).

If I had to mount an additional antenna to receive Sirius it would be a no go. Especially since Spotify works great with no additional equipment needed.

I have a 23 MY LR with white seats. I'm 6'-0", 230 lbs. and I find the seats comfortable. Probably just as comfortable as any other car I've owned.
