It definitely rubbed me the wrong way! I want to empathize with them as I'm sure they are short staffed with the job cuts but that empathy can only go so far.

It's been extremely frustrating dealing with them on this! It should have been a simple appointment but they led me down the wrong path and fed me so much false info throughout the process.

Update: They rescheduled my appointment stating we need to wait for my adapter to arrive before continues and then this: Am I confused and mistaken here or is the service advisor? This should have been such an easy appointment to schedule but has been an absolute PITA.

If you look at the website, it seems to imply to buy it and then schedule the retrofit. So I think there is confusion all around.

Well they have updated my cost estimate and are charging me 15.30 for the CCS retrofit.

I have a new estimate but I can't approve it. It says it's outdated but this is what that invoice shows. It says already configured but I can assure you it says it's not in my car. So just waiting on an update from them.

Tesla Service is now telling me they do not offer the retro fit on the model 3. Only model S/x currently.

Yup, it's showing that my 2020 model 3 is compatible but I sold that and transferred that car in 2021. I only have a 2021 model 3 now. I made the service appointment and reached out to Tesla service so we shall see what they say. Thanks for the info!

Not sure! I cannot locate it via the Tesla app, but I can find it on the browser version of the store. I can add it to my cart and it even shows on my tesla app once in the cart. It is only charging me $250.00 though.

Depends on your SA. My SA told me if I find an existing inventory he would do it and he did. Then they credited another $100 back to me because of all the drama about me buying a "used 2018 model 3" and the hassle they put me through. I picked it up yesterday and it is almost perfect.

I pulled an existing inventory model 3 in Marina Del Rey. I ordered Monday and went through some hell with Tesla on Tuesday, but I am picking it up Friday. I was given the option to get it tomorrow but it doesn't work for me. The trick is hunt the existing inventory(if you can) for your config.

This is the way forward for those of you who can't keep waiting. It seems like everyone in that discord is going to eventually get their car. Lots of SR+ got picked up this way.

As an update, my SA says I bought a used 2018 and payment didn't go through. What's funny is my order page shows 2021 and I found my vin, via page inspection, and it's a 2021 VIN. On top of the fact that my payment went through on my banks end, I'm not sure what to think.
