Right, main screen changes reflect on the aftermarket rear but not the other way i.e. is not bidirectional.

I have the same and it is just how it works. It can hijack a CANBUS signal but it cannot send changes for main screen to recognize/update.

I am in process to hardwiring a dash cam as the built-in one has randomly errored too many times to give me confidence.

I like it! Definitely cooler especially the front windows, no more sun burning the forearm while driving. The 70% front windshield is transparent to my eyes, the sides might be dark for some, but I've had 15% for years on other vehicles and is my preferred tint level.

Right, weight aside I was wondering if the length of the 7000TLX can match up to the jack points of the MY easily or near the limits.

Can you advise if the 7000TLX works well for MY or nearing its lift point limits? Trying to figure out if I need the 6000ELX with even longer jack point spread

For all things aftermarket, you get what you pay for. If your local area have smooth roads with minimal pot holes and sunken manhole covers, sure a cast wheel will work. You either pay upfront for a strong forged wheel or be willing to potentially repair a bent cast wheel + time/effort.

FWIW when my tires need to be replaced I plan to buy 255/45/20 due to wider availability of tire choices and for some reason, cheaper than 255/40/20.

The Aliexpress post I bought mine from had a short video on how to assemble so it was smooth assembly/installation, does not touch bumper, and no complaints. I used to pay ~$65 for tow hook license plate brackets for various BMWs so $18 was a no brainer.

+1 SS brake lines would not affect pedal feel in normal driving unless your old lines were super worn out.

You should contact Art of the Tint, they tinted my friend's MY a few months ago and my cars from years ago still look great with Llumar Pinnacle.

Delivery time will be an issue, my dealer said they will accept orders in November but is a 5-7 months wait. the same dealer quoted me full MSRP for the OG Etron SUV and said I was lucky they are not asking $5K premium like other dealers have.
