Still ~40% of the US/CAN fleet is on 3.25. ~27% of the worldwide fleet which is lower % as only US/CAN got 3.x branch. But every day more 3.25 people are being moved to 14.x. The rate was speeding up when it seemed Tesla was happy with 14.8 and moving a lot of cars per day for 3-4 days...

I don't think they are done moving people from 3.25 to 14.x yet. If you use TeslaFi data and remove the non-N.A fleet (because the rest of the world never got 3.x as they don't have FSD) 3.25 is still ~42.5% of the fleet. Even if we look at the entire TeslaFi fleet there is still ~27% on 3.25...

Tesla seems to have said the V12 UI update was the "Spring" update. That came in 14.x

What is the Spring update then? I thought 2024.14.x was what Tesla advertised as the Spring update in those earlier tweets??

There are people on these forums that got moved to 14.6 from 3.25 and were active subscribers. It will likely only be the "old guard" that are kept back to get 2024.9.5/FSDS12.4. Those reports were from a week or so ago so not sure what thread they were on. Probably with 2024.20 Tesla will...

That may be true for the most part but there have already been reports on these forums of FSD subscribers/owners who got put from 3.25 to 14.8. I think only the old guard will be kept back for 2024.9.5/FSDS12.4

It is going out fast. I guess it depends if you follow the Meteorological or Astronomical definition of Spring. If Astronomical they still have 3 more weeks to meet their deadline!!

Don't think there is a way if you own FSD. If you were a subscriber you can let it lapse, wait for the latest FW with older FSD and then continue on. Elon did post on X last week that from 12.4 onwards the branches would be in sync with latest features most of the time going forward. We shall...

Big push late last night. I'd been watching Notatesla 14.8 data and up to about 6pm PDT last night only 15 updates had rolled out. Then I got my update from 3.25 to 14.8 at 8pm PDT and checked again and the rollout was over 3000. Already 500 today but those may have just been EDT cars around...

The majority of people on 3.25 were because of the trial and we still make up around 50% of the entire N.A fleet according to TeslaFi data. Tesla is very slowly moving 3.25 people to 14.8 (about 350 in the last couple days on TeslaFi) but seems they are prioritizing getting the last 8.9 people...

Yes he is on 14.8 now (as of this afternoon) and was already on 8.9 before the trial started in April so he was one of the many that didn't get it because they were already ahead of the 3.25 trial branch.

2024.20 went out to employees over the weekend so a lot of us may end up skipping 14.x entirely. 14.x has been plagued with more bugs than usual and seems to get a bug fix every couple days. They are running out of numbers to keep patching it...LOL I'd guess 8.9 people will continue to be...

Ah, they are maybe adding in the ~1100 pending updates then?? Yes big afternoon waves the last couple days. But almost all are going to 14.6 people to get them off that version. Very few going to 3.25 and 8.9 cars.

Where are you seeing it that high? On TeslaFi, I'm seeing ~23% of similar vehicles to mine so more in line with N.A. numbers and 28.7% of the worldwide fleet. FWIW I don't have it. Only one of my friends was offered 14.6, didn't install it and Tesla took it away and hasn't given him anything...

I think these were the problems that caused Tesla to stop 14.6 rollout and now they have a 14.7 version rolling out in big numbers this afternoon. But because your car was one that actually experienced the "bug" it may be worth doing a service appt request and see what the say. Who knows...

Very few people moved off of 3.25 to 14.6 last week. At least percentage wise based on TeslaFi stats. Most were going from 8.9 to 14.6 and getting their free trial of 12.3.6. So still being on 3.25 doesn’t mean much right now. Over 50% of the North American fleet is still on 3.25.

Yes. You can go from FSD to TACC via the menu but to get back to FSD you have to have the other profile to switch into or put the car in P.

Auto shift Beta is only available for the new 2024 M3 "highland" and the new S/X. oh and CT.

Yes, this happened during the initial wave...people already on FSD subscription still got a free month. If you have paid outright for FSD then I don't think you will get a credit.

Yes the second the software update completes you get an email from Tesla and the trial starts immediately. The only way to delay the trial start is to not install. Be warned, my friend got the 14.6 update pending and was waiting to install for this Friday...well after a couple days of not...
