Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

Let the mods remove me. Maybe it will get me off another platform where I don't have to deal with keyboard warriors like yourself. They would be doing me a real solid!

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

Unfortunately we all know how Tesla works. They don't make many variants of a car. The cover will always be there, it is integrated into the truck. The passthrough will most likely never happen as well, because of the cover. this is one thing that I hope Tesla changes in the future. The more...

They want a $40,000 CT that tows 25,000 lbs, 8000 lb payload capacity, has a range of 800 miles, and gets 5 miles per kWh.

How is that a threat? I just said call it a turd in real life and not hide behind your keyboard with your opinions. If you think it is a threat, then you have the issue. I would never resort to violence over someone calling my car a turd. I am just sick of people like you saying the same...

Where is one instance of a "threat" like you call it. If they haven't banned lafrisbee, they won't ban anyone at this point. I called them a troll, which is my opinion. Please let me know of any threats.

How long have you been following Tesla? Anyone with any critical thinking skills should have realized that Elon makes insane "promises" that will never come to reality. Trusting Elon was your mistake and you only have yourself to blame for that. You could have received $250 back at any time...

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

There also can be a civilized way of venting your frustrations. We live in a click bait world of negativity and it makes me sick. I personally love the looks, design, and functionality of the truck. I could see how people could be upset by the promises Elon made, but that was not reality. I...

I am too poor to buy a Rolls Royce Spectre. However, I won't bash the person buying it or the car itself. If it makes someone happy, I don't care. Too much negativity in this world.

To battle a troll, you need to be a troll. Enjoy thinking and talking about a vehicle you will never own. For something you don't like, you sure think about it a lot.

When did I ever say that? In fact, I will welcome it. Keyboard warrior got their feelings hurt here. You are the one feeling hurt right now.

    Turdneau cover

People bash on Tesla all the time online and say what crappy cars they are. I have never experienced that in real life. In fact, it has only been positive in the real world. So either these people never leave their house or they don't have the guts to tell their opinions to a person face to face.
  12. D

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. If you had any type of reading comprehension, you would know that. I am saying people like you say what you want behind the safety of a keyboard, but when you enter the real world you are a different person.
  13. D

    Turdneau cover

It is the society we live in right now. Everyone feels that their opinions matter, even if it is hurtful towards other people. It is why I quit all social media, but you can't escape it unless you avoid the Internet all together.

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

Getting my turd this weekend. Please come up to me in public and call it a turd to my face you keyboard warriors! Please take a shower and brush your teeth before you leave the house though.
  15. D

    Turdneau cover

Trolls enjoy being trolls. Venting their hatred for this truck makes them happy. These keyboard warriors fortunately never leave their house, so they won't actually comment negatively to my "turd" in person. Talking is easy behind a screen.

Just keep the cover down if you need a back window. I drove a truck with bed cap, which you couldn't see out of. No cameras as well. Just use your side mirrors. If you need a back window to drive, you are a bad truck driver. Cyberturd, you guys love thinking about this truck 24/7.

    Cybertruck is a scam.

When you do 95% highway driving like I do, 30,000 miles is not problem. Even driving at 75 mph.
  18. D

    Cybertruck is a scam.

They will try to find examples where people ruin their tires in 3000 miles because they drive their cars like they are on a racetrack. Even the tire thing is nonsense. I mainly do highway driving and don't accelerate like an idiot. My tires last a long time.

People love to hate on Tesla. It makes them feel good for some reason. I don't get it, but they enjoy it.

Official Foundation Series Dual Motor Waiting room

Tons of people got this email. I have had a VIN for 6 days with no update and I received it. Wouldn't sit around and update your app for a VIN. ;)

    Cybertruck is a scam.

Tesla has only been selling production vehicles for 10 years and is making products I want. They are pushing innovation forward and made an insane concept car into reality that no other car company has done. I am fine with paying a $20,000 markup right now. I have the choice of not paying for...

    Cybertruck is a scam.

How many screens went out? One? Cherry picking a few examples to make your point with dings and screen(s). Hub caps, FSD, AP, and lockers will come. I am fine with that. I am buying the truck because I want it and I know I am a beta tester. I buy products from companies I like and Tesla has...

6 days since VIN and no updates yet. It is driving me crazy!

    Cybertruck is a scam.

Doesn't bother me. I will take delivery with or without them and will be extremely happy. 4 years of waiting and some missing hub caps is not big deal to me or anyone else that is taking delivery. It seems to be an issue for the people who didn't get invites or were priced out of the vehicle.
  25. D

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

Cyber(nota)truck even more Not a truck than I first thought

The US truck market is not a real truck market. The majority of people that buy F150's, buy them as a commuter car and to get groceries. To steal the "truck market" you don't really need to make a real truck. You just need to make something people want to drive. The people upset here seem to be...

Or it could be exactly what someone wants. People pay huge money for Ford Raptors F150. The cheapest one around me is $100,000 with a $15,000 markup. I don't care if you think it is a truck, but it fits all my needs. I can tow a boat 80 miles roundtrip to my lake and I can use it for my home...

Even though on paper, the Rivian and Lightening are similar, Tesla is in this for profit. In one year from now, Tesla will turn a large profit on each unit, the Lightening will be a huge loss still, and years after Rivian started they will be lucky to break even on each unit. Still think they...

This Cybertruck is living inside the haters minds. This is great. They write novels about the truck and Elon. They must think about this truck more than me, and I should be getting it the next few months. Can't wait until they see them all over the road, they might die of a heart attack from all...

The Cybertruck is more expensive to supercharge than a Ford F-150 costs in gas

Must be nice not to have PG&E. We have to pay 50% more.

The Cybertruck is more expensive to supercharge than a Ford F-150 costs in gas

Two years ago in California I was paying $0.12 per kWh with the EV-A plan during off-peak. Now it is $0.24 per kWh. No other better options right now, but it isn't that bad since I have net metering with solar. Still kicking myself for not putting up more panels before the changes in net metering.

The Cybertruck is more expensive to supercharge than a Ford F-150 costs in gas

The same trucks that say 24 mpg are closer to 18 mpg in cold weather and traveling 70 mph. If you are using real world range for the Cybertruck, you need to do the same for ICE trucks.

    Cybertruck deliveries

I would expect 2027 and 2026 would be great surprise. Tesla told me Dec to March and I don't even believe that time frame. 2024 will be the year of the foundation series in my opinion. Lots of optimistic people here that think they will be getting their dual motor with $7500 tax credit in April.
  36. D

    Cybertruck deliveries

If you just ordered, you will be 2026 at the earliest, I would think 2027. Those delivery estimates are not your delivery estimates, but when deliveries start. No deliveries have even been confirmed for non Tesla employees yet.

Decline Foundation Series, but maintain place in line?

I am sorry, but you are confused about something. I am in the same position as you if you are awaiting your Foundation Series. There is no place to order monthly FSD on the app or on the website. Where are you seeing this? It will have two things available on your order purchase. It will say...

    Cybertruck deliveries

I am done reading any "news" about the Cybertruck. According to sources the Cybertruck will produce 1 to 1 million trucks in 2024. That is my prediction and I am sticking with it. ;)
  39. D

Decline Foundation Series, but maintain place in line?

FSD capability is FSD. Thy just use the verbiage because it is still in beta and will continue to be for years. I had "FSD" on a monthly subscription and it said FSD capability for the order.

    Which Cybertruck - Foundation Series

If I had the choice, I would go for the $79,990 version that would get the $7500 tax credit. I have a feeling that the majority of the year will be the Foundation Series year and I don't want to wait any longer. Tesla is getting my money for the Dual Motor Foundation series because they sent me...

Cybertruck "Foundation series" is a fantastic exercise in economics! ... and PROFITable

You mean in three to five years from now? Prices will drop off course. You are giving Tesla way too much credit on ramping up production. This will be a long process and demand will outweigh supply, especially when people see them out on the road. 90% of people will hate this thing, but 10% of...

Cybertruck "Foundation series" is a fantastic exercise in economics! ... and PROFITable

Before I go on my rant, I will first of say I am buying the Founder Series dual motor. The way they did the Foundation Series screws people. You are only paying for 2024 access. Tesla could have been nicer and had the AWD be $79,990 and have all the base options. Then tack $20,000 on for...

Cybertruck Vehicle to Home Survey Email

It makes no sense to me. We are both paying $20,000 for the Foundation Edition, but the CyberBeast gets the free installation. 🤷‍♂️

I think only the Cyberbeast has that $4000 installation included. I have the dual motor and got the same email as you.

Yeah yeah... so you got the Foundation Invite...

If you were offered the option of getting a Cybertruck right now beewang, would you get it? No car is an investment. I am getting the Cybertruck Foundation Series for a few reasons. #1 is that I don't have faith that this will be a high production vehicle for YEARS! If I don't get it at...
